Kristina Laurel Hale began her legal career working as an Assistant Attorney General in the Laredo Child Support Division. She served as an Assistant Webb County Attorney for seven years before joining the Laredo City Attorneys Office where for 10 years she worked up the ranks before being named Interim City Attorney in December of 2016. On December 3, 2017, Kristina was officially appointed the First Female City Attorney in the history of the City of Laredo.
Kristina has served as President of the Laredo Chapter of the International Good Neighbor Council, President of the Laredo Young Lawyers Association, President of the Webb County Women’s Bar Association, and President of the Webb County Bar Association. Kristina has also served on the the State Bar of Texas Public Affairs Committee, she is a member of the Stare Bar College, and has received a Municipal Law Certification from the Texas City Attorneys Association.
Kristina is married to Oscar Hale, Jr. and has three children, Andrew, Alexandria, and Jordann Paris.
