Throughout his 30 years of practicing law, Mike has been involved in all types of governmental litigation and representations. Mike has represented Counties, Cities, School Districts, State Universities, Special Purpose Districts and governmental group risk pools. He had litigated and tried to jury verdicts various types of cases including employment, civil rights, tort, construction and declaratory judgment suits for governmental clients.
He is a frequent writer on Sovereign Immunity and Governmental Liability. He has been asked by the State Bar, the Texas Center for the Judiciary, and other entities to speak on Sovereign Immunity and the Texas Tort Claims act at CLE programs throughout the State.
